Once you own one or more leagues, the League Administration page is your control room for all of them. It's where you set end dates, manage notifications, invite players, reach the advanced settings, and eventually archive a league that's finished. You reach it from the league tools once you're signed in; if you don't own any leagues yet, it simply tells you so.
The page opens with a list of every league you own, each shown as "name — ends: <date> — <status>." You can select more than one at a time (hold Ctrl, or ⌘ on a Mac) and most changes below then apply to all the leagues you've highlighted at once. Leagues that aren't active are shown but can't be selected.
For the selected leagues you can set a new end / reset date, or tick drop selected league(s) to remove them. Dropping is reversible in the sense that it's the ordinary "I'm done running this" action — distinct from archiving, which is permanent (see below). You can't do both at once: choosing to drop disables the date field.
Two groups of notification switches control who hears about what:
Owner email notifications — get emailed when players join or leave, when results are posted, and when a player misses their plays. That last one, "player plays missed," is a premium feature: on the free Sandbox plan it's shown but disabled, and it unlocks on a paid plan.
Player notifications — control what your members can be notified about, such as join/leave activity. Some player notices (results and new plays) are left to each player's own preference by default.
Allow player communications opens up member-to-member contact within the league (it applies to private leagues where players opt in). A generate report button is present for a future league-report feature — win/loss stats, leaderboard, and participation rates — but that report isn't built yet, so the button is a placeholder for now.
When your changes are set, Apply Changes writes them to every league you selected.
Trivia and classroom leagues can be joined with a code like fluffy-cheese-42 — the owner mints it in the League Studio, hands it out, and players join with no email and no sign-up (they get a fun auto-generated name). Replacing the code instantly retires the old one; removing it closes the door to new joins. It's the invitation method built for classrooms, and it works for any studio league.
The Invite action opens the invite tools for a single league, so it's available when you have exactly one league selected. See the invite flow for sending links, importing contacts, and tracking who has joined.
Advanced Settings jumps to the per-league configuration page — league format (including head-to-head), timezone, grading windows, live odds, and more. Those fields are documented in Advanced League Settings and, in full detail, the Advanced Settings Reference.
Archiving is the permanent close-out of a finished league, and it's deliberately separate from the reversible "drop" checkbox above. A league can only be archived once it has ended and no other active players remain in it. Archiving is final — the league is retired — but its final record is preserved, so history and standings aren't lost. Treat it as the last step for a season that's truly over, not a way to pause a league.
