The League Studio

Build a trivia league for your class, your family, or your office — in about a minute.

What the Studio Is

The League Studio is where trivia and classroom leagues are created and run. (Sports leagues have their own create form — the studio is everything else.) You pick who plays, where the questions come from, and hand out a join code. The engine does the rest: daily boards, instant grading, standings, streaks.

Create a League

Four questions: a name, who plays? (young kids, elementary, middle school, high school / teens, adults), where the questions come from, and the question style. The age group does real work — it sets the audience wall (who is allowed in) and filters every board to age-appropriate material. A league for elementary schoolers physically cannot serve a question flagged for older players.

Join Codes

Your league gets a code like fluffy-cheese-42. Anyone with the code can join — and players who join by code need no account, no email, no personal information of any kind. They get a fun auto-generated name and start playing. Replace the code any time (the old one stops working instantly) or remove it to close the door. The studio gives you a ready-to-send invite blurb.

Your Own Questions

Add questions right in the studio: a prompt, two answers, and which one is correct — or mark it "no right answer" and let the everyone-gets-the-same-flip coin settle it. Tuesday's vocabulary list, state capitals, inside jokes about the office coffee machine: if it has two sides, it's a question. Retire and restore your questions any time. Your questions belong to your league alone — they never appear anywhere else on the platform.

Question Sources

Run your league on our pool (curated, age-filtered, always fresh), only your own questions (full control — the platform is just the engine), or both. The studio shows you exactly what your players will draw from, browsable by category, so there are no surprises.

What It Costs

Running a classroom is free: a league, a class-sized roster, the full house pool, join codes, and your own questions. Paid organizer plans (coming with the app launch) add capacity and convenience — more leagues, unlimited question uploads, and results reporting. Safety features are never paid features.
