Advanced League Settings

Once a league exists, its owner can fine-tune a handful of settings that don't show up on the original Create League form. These live on a separate page, reachable from your league's admin screen, and only the league owner (or an ROP admin) can open it.

Display: League Timezone

The league timezone controls how kickoff times and grading windows are displayed to players in that league. It's cosmetic in the sense that all the underlying eligibility and grading math is done in UTC internally — changing the timezone doesn't shift when a game actually locks, it just changes how the time is shown on screen.

Grading: Same-Day Grading

By default, a public play group isn't finalized until the next calendar day (in the league's timezone) even after every game in it has finished. Turning on allow same-day grading lets a fully-resolved play group in your league, finalize the moment its last game ends, instead of waiting for the calendar to roll over. This matters most for leagues that want same-night results rather than next-morning ones amd it is the default.

Game Eligibility: Live Odds and Cutoff Buffer

Two related settings control exactly when a game stops being pickable:

Cutoff buffer is a number of minutes before kickoff after which a game is no longer offered as an option. A value of 0 means a game stays eligible right up until it actually starts. The cutoff still applies either way — allow live odds doesn't skip it. What it controls instead is whether odds keep updating (and new plays can be built against those updated odds) for a game that's already in progress, right up to that cutoff. Live odds access itself depends on your plan; see the plans guide for which plans include it.

Where to Find It

From your league's admin page, look for the advanced settings link. Changes save immediately and apply to future plays only — anything already generated keeps the rules it was created under.
