A simple guide to playing ROP
There are three front doors, and none of them is wrong.
Create an account with a username, email, and password. We'll ask how old you are — teens (13–17) get accounts with age-appropriate leagues, and if you're under 13 you don't need an account at all (see the join code below — that's the kid door, and it's a better deal anyway: no forms).

Enter a join code. If a friend, teacher, or league owner handed you something like fluffy-cheese-42, that's a league invitation. Enter it, get a fun auto-generated name, and you're playing — no email, no sign-up, nothing collected.
All plays happen inside a league. You can join public leagues, private groups, competition leagues that share a scoreboard, or classroom leagues run by a teacher. If you're unsure where to begin, a public league is an easy starting point — join and leave public leagues at will from the Leagues page.
Want to run your own? Sports leagues are created on the Create League form. Trivia and classroom leagues are created in the League Studio, where you pick an age group, choose your question sources, and get a join code to hand out.
Each day your league builds you a Board. In a sports league that's the day's matchups (formats vary — every game, a randomized set, fixed or flexible pick counts). In a trivia league it's the day's questions — and trivia never has an off day. The flow is always the same: review the Board, make your calls, submit.

Sports plays grade when the real games finish — check pending and completed plays to follow along. Trivia plays grade the instant you submit: answers revealed, Units awarded, and you're done for the day. Sweep a trivia Board and your Units double per correct pick; miss exactly one and you still take a consolation win — one Unit, streak intact.
After your first league, the Dashboard becomes your home page: active leagues, today's plays, standings, streaks, and league chat. From there the game teaches itself — but if you'd like a guided walk, the interactive tutorial below is mascot-led and gentle.
