Real Odds Parlay

Predict real matchups, one call at a time.

Subscription Plans

Every account sits on a plan, and your plan controls how much of the platform you can use at once. Gameplay itself — Units, scoring, leaderboards — is identical on every plan. What changes is scale: how many leagues you can own and join, how many picks you can make per play, how often you can refresh live scores, and a few smaller conveniences.

The Plans

Real Odds Parlay runs a free plan plus six paid plans, billed monthly:

Sandbox (free) — the entry point for every registered player. You can join up to 3 public leagues and 1 private league, own 1 league, and get 1 play per day with up to 3 games in it. Ads are on, live scores and live-score refreshes aren't available, and there's a 5-game cap on leagues you create.

Emerging ($2.99) — the first paid step. Unlimited public leagues, 2 private leagues, 2 plays per day, up to 5 games per play, 25 live-score refreshes a day, ads off, live scores on, and a 10-game cap on leagues you create. Email notifications rise to 5 a day (150 a month).

Varsity ($5.99) — 3 private leagues, 3 plays per day, 50 refreshes a day, a 15-game league cap, and higher email allowances (10 a day, 300 a month).

All-Star ($9.99) — 4 private leagues, 4 plays per day, 75 refreshes a day, a 20-game league cap, and email up to 20 a day (600 a month).

Pinnacle ($14.99) — 5 private leagues, 5 plays per day, up to 10 games per play, 100 refreshes a day, a 25-game league cap, and email up to 30 a day (900 a month).

Apex ($19.99) — 6 private leagues, 6 plays per day, 150 refreshes a day, a 30-game league cap, and email up to 50 a day (1,500 a month).

Vanguard ($24.99) — the top plan. 10 private leagues, 10 plays per day, up to 20 games per play, 500 refreshes a day, a 40-game league cap, and the highest email allowances on the platform (100 a day, 3,000 a month).

Owning vs. Joining Leagues

Every plan, free or paid, owns 1 league outright. What paid plans add is the ability to buy extra owned-league slots beyond that one, plus unlimited public leagues to join and a growing number of private leagues. If you just want to play in other people's leagues, the free Sandbox plan already lets you join several; the paid plans matter most once you want to run more of your own.

What "League Cap" Means

When you create or clone a league, your plan sets the maximum number of games that league's owner can configure it to use per play (the Default Games setting on the Create League form — see Creating & Configuring Leagues). This is a per-owner limit tied to your plan at the time, not a per-league setting anyone can raise independently.

Live Scores and Refreshes

Free-plan players see results update once a day. Every paid plan unlocks real-time score access and a daily allotment of live-score refreshes, growing from 25 a day on Emerging up to 500 a day on Vanguard. Refreshes reset each day; going over your limit for a league triggers a temporary "blocked" state on that league's play button until the next day — see the Dashboard Overview for what that looks like.

Game-Selection Modes by Plan

The way a league lets players pick their games — its game-selection mode — is also plan-gated for the owner who creates it. Higher plans unlock more control:

See Creating & Configuring Leagues for what each mode does.

Text-Message (SMS) Notifications

SMS alerts aren't bundled into any plan. The plan is for them to be a neutral, pay-as-you-go add-on for every registered (non-demo) account, sold in blocks priced near cost — 50 messages for $1.49, 100 for $2.29, or 250 for $4.99. SMS credits aren't available yet during the beta (you'll see them marked "coming soon" in your account). Email notifications — included with every plan, and scaling up as you move up the ladder — are the live notification channel today.

Demo Accounts

Demo accounts run on their own footing, distinct from Sandbox: 3 public leagues, no private leagues, no owned leagues, and 1 play per day. See the Demo User Guide for how to create one.

Changing Plans

You can change plans at any time from your account settings. An upgrade takes effect immediately; existing leagues and history carry over unchanged. A downgrade is scheduled for the end of your current billing cycle — you keep your current plan's benefits until then, and the confirmation screen shows exactly which plan you'll move to and when.

What Happens to Your Leagues

Any league you own can only use settings your current plan allows. If your plan ends — you cancel, or a payment ultimately fails after we've retried and warned you — your leagues are automatically adjusted down to the free (Sandbox) limits rather than taken away. That means games per league, games per play, the game‑selection mode, plays per day and per week, and live scoring all snap back to what a free owner is allowed (for example, a large all‑required parlay is trimmed to the free game cap and reverts to the standard random board).

Your leagues keep running under those free limits, and your history is untouched. Re‑subscribe at any time to lift the caps again. Because a free account is a perfectly valid, permanent state, an owner is never left in limbo — you simply play within the rules of whatever plan you're currently on.
