How kids play here — and what we built so you don't have to worry about it.
A child joins with a code you give them — something like fluffy-cheese-42 — from a league that you (or their teacher) created and control. They pick nothing but a button; the platform assigns them a fun name like GigglingWalrus. There is no sign-up form for a child to fill out, because there is nothing we want from them.
No email address. No real name. No birthday. No phone number. No photos. A kid's entire identity here is a made-up name, membership in your league, and their game results. If they lose the device they played on, that identity is simply gone — which is exactly how it should be. Kid accounts also can never be converted into email-based accounts: the upgrade door is closed on our side, not just hidden.
Real Odds Parlay also hosts sports prediction leagues for adults. A kid account cannot see them, cannot join them, and cannot be invited into them — the restriction is enforced by the server on every request, not by hiding menu items. The strictest rule always wins: a child's account only ever sees leagues rated for everyone.
Leagues for kids draw only from our kid-safe question pool, filtered again by the age group you chose — young kids don't get high-school material, and vice versa. Factual questions have verified answers with no trick wording (a kid who knows the fact gets the point — we audit for this). And in the League Studio you can see every question your league draws from, add your own, or run entirely on your own material.
Kid accounts see no advertising. Not "age-appropriate ads" — none. The grown-ups can watch the ads; that's the deal.
Three questions a day is a ritual, not a homework load. Results are instant, the scoring rewards knowledge but forgives one miss (ask your students about the consolation win), streaks give the quiet kids a way to shine, and the weekly ladder resets every Monday so nobody is buried by one bad week. You control the roster, the content, and the code — and when the unit ends, you replace the code and the room is closed.
