Every pick you make earns or costs a Unit. Get it right, +1. Get it wrong, –1. That's the entire scoring system — no points, no multipliers, no hidden math. It's the same rule whether you're in a daily parlay league, a straight-play league, or a week-long NFL Pick'em board.
Parlay leagues chain your Units together: a correct pick doubles your running total, and the chain keeps growing as long as you stay right. One miss ends the current parlay, but whatever you've already banked stays banked — it becomes the starting point for your next parlay. Straight-play leagues (including Pick'em) are simpler: each pick just adds or subtracts one Unit on its own, no chaining involved.
