A trivia league hands you a fresh Board of questions every day — no off days, no waiting for a season. Each question offers two answers; pick a side on every question, lock it in, and your results appear immediately. One ranked play a day keeps the standings honest: it's everyone's best three calls against everyone else's.
Real ones. "Sharks are older than trees." "A day on Venus lasts longer than its year." These have actual answers, verified by actual humans, and knowing things wins. No trick wording, no gotchas — if you know the fact, you get the point. That's a rule we enforce on ourselves.
Unanswerable ones. "Did Napoleon personally trademark the spicy chicken sandwich?" "Is the last slice of pizza quietly in charge?" Nobody knows. Nobody can know. These are settled by a coin flip that lands the same way for every player holding that question that day — so luck is applied with perfect equality, which is the fairest thing luck can do. The fun is in committing to an opinion anyway.
Every Board is built for variety: no two questions about the same topic, no two of the same shape. You will never face mustard-versus-catsup followed by pizza-versus-hot-dogs. We consider this a solemn promise.
Trivia plays run as parlays: one Unit doubled by each correct call, so a swept three-question Board pays eight. Miss exactly one and you still take a consolation win — one Unit, and your streak survives. Miss two or more and the coin offers its condolences. The Unit Manifesto records the formal amendment.
Once your ranked play is in, the arcade opens: unlimited casual rounds, just for fun — they never touch your standings, your streak, or your Units. Pick the categories you're in the mood for (science, food, silly history, words, music, and friends), race the per-question timer, and play until you're out of snacks. Ranked trivia feeds the same standings machinery as everything else: weekly, monthly, and all-time rankings plus your streak. Weekly ladders reset every Monday, so a rough week is never a life sentence.
